OTHER DUTIES: Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor as necessary to support contract and mission support requirements in job-related areas. Performs general housekeeping duties to assigned work areas, maintaining a clean work area.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Must possess eight years of working experience and have extensive knowledge of Government logistics and supply operations including acquisition of supplies, equipment and products, logistical support including property management and accountability, hazardous material procedures, precision measurement equipment laboratory (PMEL) tracking, and material/equipment disposal. Fully proficient in the area of expertise.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must possess a SECRET Security Clearance, and they must be able to meet requirements to operate in an enhanced security environment. To support Eglin – Operations and Maintenance Services (E-OMS). Strict adherence to Safety, Environmental, Quality Assurance, Security, Compliance, and administrative policies and procedures. Supports process improvement. Promotes core value of “Safety First, Mission Always!”
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Required to work inside and outside under conditions exposed to dust and extreme temperatures.
PPHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical effort requires crawling, bending, stooping, standing, and working in various awkward positions. Normal duties require extensive lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds and transporting heavy items using a hand-truck or forklift.
